Jessi Wooten is from Raleigh, NC where she started dancing at the age of 3. Jessi graduated from East Carolina University in the spring of 2020 with a BFA in Dance with a concentration in performance and choreography, as well as a certificate in entrepreneurship. She extensively trained and studied Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Modern, and Contemporary during her time at school. Jessi attended the American Dance Festival in 2017 as well as in 2019, where she performed in Martha Graham’s “Dark Meadow Suite” at the Footprints Performance. She also had the opportunity to study at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, UK. She studied as an apprentice with ShaLeigh Danceworks in 2021 and was invited to officially join the company in January of 2022. Jessi has a passion for performing and teaching dance to young aspiring dancers. She loves being part of the Studio Five Family!
