Phoebe Crumbine

Instructor

Phoebe Crumbine is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher based in North Carolina. Phoebe is of Irish and English heritage and grew up on the North East coast of the US. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Elon University with a BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography and a BA in Psychology, in the spring of 2023. Phoebe is a certified Pilates instructor, in which she studied mat and equipment Pilates. She has learned from and performed works by Elizabeth Parkinson, Ming-Lung Yang, Jasmine Powell, Jiwon Ha, Courtney Liu, Janice Lancaster, Renay Aumiller, Casey Avaunt, Lauren Kearns, Justin Tornow, Jen Guy Metcalf, Etc. She spent the summer of 2022 studying dance in Florence, Italy, under Angelo Egarese. There, she performed in the Florence Dance Festival. She is vocally trained by Gretchen Bruesehoff. She was the artistic director, a choreographer and performer, for “Game Over”, an evening length show produced, performed, and created by the Elon BFA Dance class of 2023. Her choreography has been selected to be presented at several mainstage shows in North Carolina. She was brought in as a guest choreographer at the Governor’s School West during the summer of 2023. She currently is signed as a company member and the marketing director for Shaleigh Dance Works. Ms. Phoebe is so excited to join our dance community here at Studio Five!
